I was born and raised in Rancho Santa Margarita. My family has been here since 1991. I’m running for city council because I want to give back to the place that formed me by advocating for all of RSM’s community to be reflected in city council decisions, policy, and budget.

I want our city council leadership to be responsive to and reflective of all our city. Over the years, I’ve seen our city change, but the city council has not.

I bring a fresh perspective and experience in community building, communication, leadership, creativity, program management, and budgeting. My career has been built on systems organizing, community care, empathetic listening, research-based decision making, and a multidisciplinary intellectual background. I would be honored to share these skills as your city council member.

I’ll ask questions, of our community, our budget, our decisions, and our priorities, because this is how we get the best city possible. I’ll do the tough work of researching facts, history, and the minutiae of our budget lines and decision-making. I’ll fight to make RSM more affordable, accessible, and equitable.

I am self funded and community driven. I want to hear about the things you care about so we can make decisions that are best for all of us. Though our city is young, it has a rich history. We need to hear from all of us to make sure we continue our bright future.

We need innovative ideas, real community input, and accountability. I can’t wait to work for you.
